Tentative Schedule

The 2019 meeting of the Mathematical Cognition and Learning Society (MCLS) will be held at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada from June 16-18 in the River Building (RB) and the Tory Building (TB).

Information for Poster Presenters:

Posters boards are 8 ft. (2.4 meters) wide and 4 ft. (1.2 meters) high. Each poster board space is devoted to one poster presentation and the actual poster size is up to the presenter. For lunch time poster sessions, you can put your poster up any time starting at 8:30am and for evening poster sessions you can put up your poster any time starting at 1:30pm. We encourage presenters to upload their presentations to:

A/V Information:

Each room will have a desktop PC, projector, and microphone. Presenters may use the computers in the rooms or a laptop, but please have all presentations loaded onto one computer. Please bring your own adaptor if you have a Mac laptop. For lightning talks all presentations must be loaded onto the desktop computer in the lecture hall and presenters will be stopped after 5 minutes. Bring a USB stick or email your presentation to We encourage presenters to use high contrast colours (e.g. white font on black background) to increase the visibility of their presentations when possible and to upload their presentations to:
